Job description

  • Unloading shipments, checking for damages, and verifying quantities.

  • Fulfilling customer orders by accurately picking products from shelves or bins.

  • Organizing and storing products in designated areas within the warehouse.

  • Properly packing items for shipping, ensuring they are secure and meet quality standards.

  • Preparing shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.

  • Following safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and free of obstacles.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

  • Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.

  • Accurate counting and checking of product details to avoid errors in inventory management and order fulfillment.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and follow instructions from supervisors.

  • Basic communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and potentially external stakeholders.

  • Basic organizational skills to maintain order within the warehouse, including keeping products in designated areas.

  • While not always mandatory, previous experience in a warehouse or similar setting can be an asset. Some employers may provide on-the-job training.
